School of Planning Graduates find excellent placement opportunities in Government, Private Sector, Public Sector, Consultancies, Research Institutions, NGOs, and other Development Organizations. Last year about 95% of the students were placed through our placement cell. The placement activities are managed by students and facilitated by a faculty.
The current batch of Masters in Planning consisting of 104 students is scheduled to graduate in May 2010. The placement activities for the current batch 2008-'10 are underway. As an initiation of the placement process, we are in the process of inviting various organizations and institutions for participating in the PLACEMENT WEEK, which will be scheduled in February 2010.
We, at CEPT, welcome your esteemed organization to our campus to participate in the placement week. During the placement week you may also brief the students about the job profile, work culture, growth, and remuneration details that you wish to offer followed by personal interviews.

SUMMER TRAINING (10 week)
The ten week summer training programme is organised at the end of two semesters for the students to learn business insights and collaborative skills. The planning students have been training with the companies that are as diverse as the class itself. They included Colliers, DHI Water and Environment Pvt Ltd, Ernst & Young, Halcrow, IL&FS IDC, JLLM, Lea Associates, Louis Berger, Mayfair, Mott Macdonald, PDCOR, TERI, Wilbur Smith, WWF, GTZ, ASCI, RITES, GIDB, GUDC, HUDCO, MMRDA, NIO, AUDA, CIDCO and several other companies. Time and again, our students have proven to be valuable additions to the organizations they have joined. This years’ summer training programme is scheduled to start in May 2010.
